Worship Team  (original)
Wyoming has three services each Sunday which means a lot of logistics need to be looked after. This team listens to the congregation and addresses their worship needs. There is input from all aspects of the worship experience and recommendations are made to make Wyoming a more meaningful place for the Body of Christ to praise our Lord. If you are interested in serving on this team please call the church office @ 697-6651.
Prayer Ministry Team  (original)
The Prayer Ministry Team is available at the altar every Sunday during the last song to pray with you or for your concerns. You may want to pray for the shut-ins or the sick. You may want to pray for someone going through a tough time or for your own personal concerns. You could pray for our country or the clergy and staff. Please come to the altar and lighten your load. God is always ready to listen. If you’d like to be a PMT, please contact Brenda Will.
 
Chancel Choir  (original)
Kathy DeLong directs the Chancel Choir.  This choir ministers at the 11:00 service each Sunday from September through mid June.  The choir incorporates a wide variety of styles including classical, gospel, and contemporary Christian.  Rehearsals, productive yet light and uplifting, are held on Thursday evenings from 7:30 until 8:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall.  There is also time for Christian fellowship, for sharing joys, concerns, and prayer.  Call Kathy DeLong @ 697-8506.
Chapel Choir  (10/09/07)
Irv Rothenberg directs the Chapel Choir.  This choir ministers at the 9:45 service each Sunday from September through Memorial Day.  The choir incorporates a wide variety of styles including classical, gospel, and contemporary Christian.  Rehearsals, productive yet light and uplifting, are held on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall.  There is also time for Christian fellowship, for sharing joys, concerns, and prayer.  Call Irv Rothenberg @ 674-1886.
Praise Team  (09/13/07)
The Praise Team leads the worship music each Sunday during the 8:30 am service. The group is comprised of people from various walks of life, all desiring to use their musical gifts to glorify Jesus Christ! New members, singers and instrumentalists, are welcome! Those interested can find this team in rehearsal on Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Please contact Sherry Roscoe for further information, at 678-5089.
Handbell Choir  (10/01/07)
The Bryce J. Duncan Memorial Handbell Choir practices in the sanctuary from 5:15 to 5:45 PM and is open to children in 2nd grade and older. No previous bell experience is necessary.  Call the church office for more information.
Children's Choirs  (10/01/07)
We enjoy fun and fellowship as we celebrate the gift of music on Thursday's at 6:00 PM from September through May.  Children ages 3 through 8th grade meet in Fellowship Hall from 6:00 to 6:30pm. After 10 minutes of fun group songs, the children dismiss into the following choir groups:
    Cherubs - ages 3 to Kindergarten
    Carol Choir- grades 1 through 3
    Choralier Choir- grades 4 through 8

Audio/Video Team  (09/30/07)
The Audio/Video Team provides the ministry of audio/video support for the pastors, musicians, dramas, alternative ministries, and anything else that needs to be heard, including recording of services.  Training is provided.  Call the church office for more information. 
 
Acolytes  (original)
Youth ages 9 and up.  At the beginning and end of each of our traditional services the Acolytes transfer the "Light" in a meaningful way.  Instruction and meaning of the role are taught by Barbara Roscoe.  There is a rotating schedule. 
 
Altar Guild  (10/11/07)
The sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of every month here at Wyoming United Methodist. Members of the Altar Guild work in teams of two to prepare the elements and the table for all three services. Each team is assigned to cover communion requirements for one month out of the year. This ministry provides the opportunity to lovingly contribute to worship in a quiet, behind-the-scenes capacity. Please prayerfully consider serving the Lord in this way. Igniting Ministry  (original)
These are the folks that make the first impression of Wyoming UMC to our visitors.  We want to make sure we make our first time visitors feel welcome.  We also want to introduce them around a little.  If you are a people person, this is for you.  Contact the church office.
